The United States and Israel jointly launched attacks on Iran, firing missiles at multiple cities including Tehran.
According to Iranian media, explosions were heard in the capital, Tehran, where missiles struck northern areas of the city. Reports also said one explosion was heard in eastern Tehran, followed by two more in northern districts, describing the assault as a coordinated U.S.–Israeli attack.
Foreign news agencies reported that Israel targeted Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport. Explosions were also reported in Sistan, Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, Kermanshah, Lorestan, and Tabriz.
Iranian media stated that seven missiles landed near the Iranian Presidential Palace and close to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s compound. There are also reports of several civilians being injured in the attacks.
According to foreign media, a U.S. official said President Donald Trump was angered by the failure to reach a deal with Iran over uranium enrichment. U.S. attacks on Iran are reportedly continuing from both air and sea.

Bahrain’s Interior Ministry urged residents to immediately move to the nearest safe location.
Iranian media reported that a U.S. base in Bahrain was targeted in a missile strike, with smoke seen rising from the Juffair area, where the American naval base is located.

“The renewed military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran constitutes a violation of international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter. The Islamic Republic of Iran considers this aggression a clear breach of international peace and security and emphasises that it reserves its legitimate right to respond decisively,” the ministry said in a statement.“The Iranian nation has always demonstrated patience and restraint to prevent escalation and preserve regional stability,” it read, adding that the armed forces stand “fully prepared to defend the country and will make aggressors regret their actions”.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told his Iraqi counterpart that Iran will continue its defense and, in retaliation, target all U.S. military bases in the region.
Meanwhile, the head of Iran’s National Security Commission warned Israel that Tehran has given a warning, and what happens next will be beyond Israel’s control.
In response to attacks by the U.S. and Israel, Iran struck Israeli targets. Arab media report that Iranian missiles targeted U.S. military bases in Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
